They can talk to each other and get to know each other, but it isn't until years later that they realize they have each other's keys in their own towers. The prince sends over his key first, so the princess can come and unlock his tower with hers. She's a little afraid, but hopeful, as she opens the door and sees him clearly for the first time.
It ends with a few verses spoken by the princess, though it's clearly just Azura talking. ]
